Being a fan of short-cuts to speed up workflow I thought it beneficial to expand on the topic of using the probe tool with Flow Simulation. To demonstrate, I'm using one of the examples provided for user typically found in C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks Flow Simulation\Examples. There are built-in validation examples and documents that us users can access to better understand what's in Flow Simulation. (C:\Program Files\Solidworks Corp\Solidworks Flow Simulation\lang\english\Docs)
Here I'm probing a velocity plot on a simple ball valve. But, if I double-click either of the probe tags...
I can access multiple parameters and even plot values for more than one parameter at a time!
If I right-mouse click the tag, I'm presented with....
In the end, I have even more flexibility with SolidWorks Flow Simulation and the probe tool. Being able to display multiple parameters is of great benefit while post-processing.!
