Daniel

Are you using Vista 64 Bit? If so how does Solidworks 2008 run on it? I would love to switch to Vista at work, but I want 64 Bit!

Thanks

Matt Luedke

I am running Vista 32 bit. SolidWorks will not support the Vista x64 operating system at this time. I'm not sure when a x64 Vista version will be available.

Matt,

Did you have to run Vista with Software OpenGL set or have any of the OpenGL graphics drivers made it out yet?

Best Regards,

Ricky Jordan

Ricky,

Software OpenGL in not checked - I am using the drivers for Vista from the Dell website version 6.0.6000.16386 (from RX) - I have a Quadro FX 2500M

The graphics work well some minor ghosting but the realview looks great

Matt,

This is good news. I'm glad to hear that OpenGL graphics drivers for Vista are starting to appear.

Now we just need to get some of them "Certified" by SolidWorks. :-)

Thanks for the update!

Best Regards,
